Characteristics | These consumables deposit a copper-nickel weld metal; nominally 67%Cu and 30%Ni. The consumables are suitable for surfacing and cladding provided the need for an appropriate buttering layer is addressed, normally either alloy 400 or pure nickel. |
Notes on usage | (1) Dry the electrodes at 200~250℃ for 30~60 minutes before use. (2) Use recommended current range. If not it will be much spatter and undercut. (3) Cleaning base metals before welding. (4) Keep the arc as short as possible |
