CSI-690
CSI-690 is designed to match alloy 690, which is finding increasing use in place of alloy600 for high temperature corrosion applications, especially in nuclear applications. Thehigh chromium content provides good elevated temperature corrosion resistance in oxidisingand sulphidising atmospheres. In addition to joining matching base materials, theelectrode can also be used for surfacing application on CMn and low alloy steel.

Characteristics | CSI-690 is designed to match alloy 690, which is finding increasing use in place of alloy 600 for high temperature corrosion applications, especially in nuclear applications. The high chromium content provides good elevated temperature corrosion resistance in oxidising and sulphidising atmospheres. In addition to joining matching base materials, the electrode can also be used for surfacing application on C-Mn and low alloy steel. |
Notes on usage | (1) Use recommended current range. if not it will be much spatters and undercut. (2) Keep the arc as short as possible. (3) Weaving width should be within two and a half times electrode's diameter. (4) When the electrodes have absorbed moisture, dry them at 250~280℃ for 30~60 minutes before use. |
